Hey everyone, it's been a while again...I know I haven't been posting much lately. Lately I haven't felt like posting or doing anything w/ this blog. Just spent a lot of time w/ family and making some time for myself. Since it's a new week I decided that I'd post a bb cream review up, so here it is ladies.

hey everyone just received a comment letting me know that the image of the bb cream below isn't the legere one and that it's one for Skin79. Sorry for that, didn't even realize/catch that mistake. I got another image up that has the legere bb cream now. When you compare them two together they look very similar besides the fact that one says Skin79 and the other says Legere on the bottem.

From a few post ago I posted that the Lovely J sent me samples of two different types of bb creams and a moisturizer. Today this review will be about one of them, so here's what it says about this bb cream on ebay at The Japanese Products Lover store:

For reference: During the time that I used this bb cream my skin has been a bit more dry when I was testing the bb cream out due to the cool/cold/dry/windy weather. Blemishes here and there but nothing severe and a little blemish scar/mark, like always it been due to stress. I'm still the shade of NC25 in MAC select sheer powder.

Ratings:
-Packaging: ??
Reason: Can't rate on the packaging since I haven't seen it in person. It's probably just like the White Multi bb cream but smaller seeing that it contains 35g instead of 50g.

-Product: 3/5
Reason: This bb cream feels more like gel than cream compared to the original. It drys faster compared to again the original but glides on very smooth, had to blend this bb cream on quickly so it would blend evenly. This bb cream is the darkest I've tried. This bb cream has sparkle/shimmers in it, the pictures show some of it. Under a certain lighting though you have see a lot of shimmer though. The smell reminds of me of the original but it's more light/soft, and the color has more of a pink undertone to it compared to White Multi bb cream. It didn't match my skin tone exactly, it was just slightly darker but hardly/barely noticeable. It's pretty sheer in coverage, I needed to use another product to cover up imperfections. This bb cream feels like nothing when I used it, felt like I was wearing nothing at all.

-Overall: 3/5
Reason: It's okay in my opinion, it was too shimmer/sparkle for my taste. I wish they made the shimmers more finer and put in a little less. The color again was just a tad darker for me but I don't mind that. Little goes on a long way but you only get 35g of product while the original has 50g, the hot pink bottle is cute though. It's great that it's oil-free and feels like I'm wearing nothing, I love the fact that it's very sheer. The feel of the bb cream is nice but it drys a little to quick for me. Gotta make sure that you blend this bb cream in well and evenly enough so there won't be any harsh lines. The ingredients for this product confuses me, it's suppose to be oil free but it contains Jojoba oil in it, doesn't make sense does it? The product contains some parabens which isn't what a lot of people want to have in the products that they use.

-Recommend?: Yes and no, I think this product would work for someone who matches NC/NW30-37 and is wanting a bb cream that has shimmer in it for that luminous effect who also doesn't need alot of coverage. I don't think anyone little then NC/NW20 should try this product. Also if you have rough skin, pits, lines, bumps/blemishes, etc. the original would be better, due to the shimmers in this product it would just make the rough skin, pits, lines, blemishes, etc. more noticeable. Probably a good bb cream to use when going out during the night.
-if you're interested the price is $24.69 plus $1.99 for shipping, total $26.68 (At the moment 5% is discounted from the original price at The Japanese Products Lover store on Ebay.)

-Buy?: No, this bb cream isn't for me. It's too shimmery and I don't want my whole face to shimmer like crazy. I prefer the original to this one. It was great to try and test, I would like to thank J for sending the bb cream for me to try before I make any decision on buying it or not. Glad I saved some $moolla$.

Didn't have much to write about on this one, it wasn't the worst yet not the best or anyway near the best for me. It an average bb cream just it has shimmer, feels more like gel and is darker then most bb creams.

Hoped it was helpful, got two more bb cream reviews coming up and then instead of just comparing the first 4 bb creams I did reviews for I'll compare all the bb creams I've done reviews for. Product Review: Missha M B.B. Sun Balm 50 SPF PA+++

Here's the commercial for the product from S. Korea, the person in the commercial is the Korean singer IVY. I don't really know much about her but of course she looks great in the commercial.

For Reference: For the time that I tested out this product my skin has been normal and a bit sensitive. For a short period of time when I was using this I has some blemishes and scars too. I'm still NC 25 in MAC Sheer Select pressed powder. I've been using this product for about almost a month, not using it everyday though, I was consistent in using the product for two weeks straight though.

Ratings:

-Packaging: 4/5
Reason: The container is made of hard plastic, looks like glass in appearance though. The cap is a twist off lid w/ another cap underneath the first lid that holds a round sponge applicator and seals in the product. It's kind of heavy and it's not convenient to carry around. It's 1 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter.

-Product: 4/5
Reason: A little goes a long way when applying this product on. It has a slight smell of SPF to it and it also smells slightly sweet. When wearing this product the smells goes away after a minute or two but I think it's because I get used to the smell, so others may be able to smell it. The product is lilac colored which is suppose to help w/ redness and brightens up the skin. When I apply it on to my skin it looks more white than lilac though but it blends into the skin so the finish is transparent. I feel like it did slightly fade my acne scars I had when I was using the product, it also did not break me out either. The texture is slightly hard but it's creamy when I blend it onto my skin. I'm not sure if it helped me on oil control since my skin haven't been oily compared to my high school days, but I noticed that I didn't need to blot much or worry if I had shine all over my face when using this product. Every time I used this product and checked to see if my nose was oily or not by touching the nose w/ the back of my hand, I hardly saw any shine. Applying it on is a bit time consuming for me, using a fluid sunscreen would be faster. I wore this under the Missha M BB cream that I did a review on previously and it feels like a makeup base too. I also use this on my neck, shoulders and collar bone area. I don't feel like I'm wearing anything when using this product.

-Overall: 4/5
Reason: All in all I like this product, but I'm not crazy about it. I like the fact that it contains 50 SPF and I can also use it as a makeup base. It helped me w/ making my scars not so noticeable and easier to conceal, also made my skin look brighter and healthier. The oil control is good too, seeing that I didn't have to worry about blotting all the time. I like the packaging and the box it comes in. The packaging is simple and not tacky looking and the box was shiny ^-^ which I though was cute. I think I got it for a pretty good price @ $9.99 plus free shipping. You can wear this alone or underneath bb cream, foundation, or tinted moisturizer. For me this is one of the only sunscreen-like products out there that I can stand the smell of. SPF is a great thing but the smell of it in most products isn't a great thing, the smell usually is not inviting or nice. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's time consuming to apply and I don't like using the round sponge. The sponge however is nice though, very soft and doesn't feel like it's of cheap/poor quality.

-Recommend?: Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a product w/ spf in it and who doesn't mind or is looking for a makeup base too. It's a good product for someone whose wanting some oil control, reduce in redness and an aid to slighly fade scars/blemishes. If you have scars and blemishes or anyother kind of mark you need/want to conceal then you'll need another product to use w/ this one. The price is also friendly too. Anyone light or dark can use this product, eventhough it looks white when you first apply it on it becomes transparent after it's blended onto the skin. I don't think you need this product if you need/want a product that's fast to apply and need to carry your sunscreen around with you for whatever reason and don't want/need oil control or a makeup base.

-Repurchase?: Maybe, I'm not sure if I really need this product or not. It's a nice product but I already had products before I got this one that does the job for me too. I may repurchase this if I run out of it and the other products that does the same job that this does. With the packaging and design of it, I think it would make a nice lil gift for friends/family.

BB cream Review: Missha M bb cream

Hey everyone, hoped everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was nice, just really cold and icey...it's aready March and yet spring is not in the air. When is the weather gonna get warmer? All the lovely ladies from the West coast are so lucky w/ having mild or nice weather.

Seriously why can't the weather here in the mid-west be nice too?

Well anyways, here the bb cream review for Missha M bb cream. This is the finally full size bb cream I have out of the 4 bb creams I own and done reviews for, but first:

The Fabulous, Great n Sweet J sent me some samples of bb creams to test out and write reviews for, she was even nice n sneaky to send me a sample of Yu-Be cream too! For Reference: During the time that I was testing this bb cream, my skin has been having little bumps and breaking out a little bit due to stress. Nothing to severe or serious though. My skin hasn't been too oily or dry but it's starting to get a bit sensitive again. I'm still NC25 in MAC Select Sheer press powder.

Ratings:
-Packaging: 5/5
Reason: The cap is a twist off that has a plug-like nob that plugs the nozzle/tip of the bottle so non of the product will come oozing out, the inside of the cap stays nice and clean. The bottle itself looks like it's about 4 1/2 inches tall.

-Product: 3/5
Reason: This bb cream is by far the thickest one I've used. The bb cream is more like a creamy foundation than a tinted moisturizer. The bb cream has a pink/greyish hue to it. It has a nice soft semi-sweet fragence to it, it goes away after a few minutes after applying it on. This bb cream is one that contains NO SPF, which is one of the reasons why I rated this bb cream as average. It gives a medium coverage that's buildable to an almost full coverage. If you have imperfections that are severe I would still suggest that you still use a concealer, I say this because the more of this bb cream you apply on could make your face look too pale w/ pink undertones plus it could get cakey. If you have imperfections that are visble but mild then a lil dap of the bb cream on the spot/area could do the trick. This bb cream gives me a matte finish, I do however find that at the need of the day I have a little bit of shine on my nose, but it's not bad. Just need to blot it and I'm still looking good. This is one of the bb creams that I've tested that I can slightly feel when I'm wearing it. I don't like to feel like I'm wearing anything on my face but this is okay that I can stand it. This bb cream to me is a bit slightly too light for me. I don't use alot of product so my face doesn't look too pale or light on me. The color does blend into the skin after a while though. I do get compliments when using this bb cream, when I'm just wearing this..people think I have not makeup on what so ever. It does make the skin look and feel softer, smooth, and clear.

-Overall 3.5/5
Reason: It's an average bb cream for me, it's my least favorite that I've tried/tested. It has NO SPF, a bit light for my skin tone, the pink/greyish hue to it is a put off, and it's thicker than most bb creams which is probably why I can feel it on my skin when I use it. The things I like about it is that it has good coverage, but that's probably the only thing I like about it. Some of the ingredients in this bb cream aren't really user friendly for alot of people like talc, etc.

-Recommend?: I would only recommend this to someone looking for alot of coverage in a bb cream that doesn't want to spend alot of money for a bb cream. Also this bb cream color would suit to people w/ really light skin tones NC/NW20 and lighter. If you don't need spf then it could be another reason to get this bb cream, and if non of the ingredients bother you or your skin. I would not recommend this to anyone who needs spf in their bb cream, darker then NC/NW 20, wants light coverage, and whose skin can't take/handle/are sensitive to some of the ingredients in this bb cream.

-Repurchase?: No, I will never repurchase this bb cream every again. It was nice to test it out and to see how well it worked w/ my skin, and it was a great bargain find for me. After reading the ingredients and seeing that it's a bit light for me I feel like I can do w/out this bb cream. I've found better bb creams compared to this one in my opinion.

I got this bb cream for only $9.99 plus free shipping from the Ebay seller EastCommune She's a very good, friendly ebay seller. She sells Missha, Skinfood, Avene and Jurliuque products but her store is small compared to others I thing she's based in Hong Kong and her prices are low compared to many others that sell bb creams, her feedbacks has been 100% and she gives out samples too.

You may think from reading this review that it's the worst bb cream I've tried but no it's not. The worst is "JUST BB Cream" from the brand Shimmerstore. I got it through a try for free trial, got two samples of it and a full bottle, just had to pay for handling and shipping. This is when the bb cream was advertised for the first time. The color matched nicely and had yellow undertones to it, but it was oily like no other. I didn't even wear it for an hour and I looked like an oil slick, no joke. I still used the samples for about a week 1/2 and I ended up breaking out really bad. I returned the full size so I wouldn't have to pay for it since it was horrible for me. They had me fill out a form/survey on it so see what was good about it and what they needed to work on. It been awhile since I've tried it, and it would seem like they reformulated the bb cream so it may not be as bad as it was when they first promoted it.

Apparently they have alot of famous asian using this bb cream: Kim Min(actual spokeperson), Zhuang Yan, Seo Mi-young, Lee Yu-ha, Cha Ye-ryeon, Xiao Hua, Wang An Qi, etc.

Doesn't even try to come over to my place and ring the freaking bell it would seem, just decides that I must not be at home and leaves a note saying that UPS will re-deliver on Monday. I don't get it, UPS guy doesn't even check to see if I'm home or not. To me it's dumb, feels like the UPS person was freaking lazy. :( Boo..so now gotta wait til next week to get my package. *sighs* I hope this weekend will be nice for me, but dang it's snowing again..Spring and the nice weather needs to come faster!

Early Feb Haulings

Hey everyone, hope you all had a good weekend. Can't believe that it's over and again it's Monday. Another 5 days until the weekend again..(counting today) *sighs Can you all tell I'm always wanting it to be the weekend. LOL, anyways I said that I would do a haulage post, so here it is. I decided to not to do a vid. since YT is taking awhile to upload vid.s, so it's not just me who experiencing this. So it's just gonna be a regular post tonight, until either YT uploads vid.s faster or I find a faster uploading vid. site.

Here's just a lil bit of what I got during early February, can't show everything since some of the stuff is either currently being used or somewhere and I can't find it or I'm just too lazy to take more pic.s of things.

First off here's some of the beauty and clothing I got. I'm pretty sure you all can guess what I got at Victoria Secrets, there's actually 5 bags but I only found too that my daughter didn't get into. During the week my husband and I went to get a new PC, I strolled on over (not really) in 7 inches of snow to Sephora and picked up a lil something, plus you all know I just had to go back to the MAC counter to have a longer look at the HK collection plus more.

During the first week I went to F21 and got some new cloths, I spent alot of time here getting some more jean since my old ones weren't fitting me anymore. Also got some beaters, tanks, tights, ect. that not pictured. I only took pic.s of some cloths that I think are cute. So here's one of the tank tops Japanese style w/ a bunny on it.

I got this to wear on Valentines day but it was very cold and snow was all over the place, so I haven't gotten the chance to wear it. I think it's a tunic style shirt, it looks prettier in person than in the picture.

Got myself another vest, got this one because I don't have a vest that looks like it.

Here's a tunic like top I saw at Target and got, I also bought one in a nice colored blue too. For cloths from Target the fabric is very nice and soft to touch.

I also got some new shoes and other clothing accessory items that I forgot to take pic.s of and I'm too lazy to go and look for them all to take pic.s of them. LOL XP
Here's a list of some of the things I can remember to list:
-I got a pair of Rocket Dogs flats, very comfy and cute (first pair I own now)
-Skechers boots, kept my feet n toes very warm
-White Mountain boots (both boots were on clearance, great deal for two)
-Pashmina red scarf from a kiosk
-etc. (can't remember the other stuff but it's probably little things so nothing special to share)
I think that's about it for the clothing for me, also did some shopping for the two angels and the hubby.

Now on to the beauty stuff! :) ^-^ XD First off here some things I got from MAC when I went back to have a second look at the HK collection. I just went back and got a backup for the Cute Ster lippie, totally love this color right now and I'm not a lippie type of gal. Also got the Fashion Mew lippie, it looked pretty when I swatched it so why not, epecially when I have 6 items for the B2B. ^-^ So Yay for one free lippie LOL, also picked up Voile slimshine. It give a pretty golden sheen color to the lips. Picked up a brow finisher in wheat to try out, might go back for the brow pencil though, not sure yet. Also picked up two creamsheen glasses in Boy Bait and Ever So Rich, didn't pick up any lippies since I don't wear much lippies and I already got the two lippies from HK. When I went back to MAC, the day after the release things were already sold out, should've figured. LOL, so I didn't get to see everything.

From F21, spend $50 or more get a nail polish free. Three colors to choose from: Hot pink, Purple, and this one a Pale pink. For a free nail polish it's pretty nice.

Went to a department store w/ a Dior Stand and finally got the tinted moisturizer that I've been lemming to try. The sa from the stand tried on shade 1 and 2, she said that shade 1 dulled my complexion so shade 2 it is. Is it just me or did Sephora upped the price on this. I was browsing the site and it says that it's $39 instead of $38 or was it always $39?? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the receipt I have says $38..

At Sephora, I came out w/ the curler because my E.L.F. on broke on me. Also picked up the GoSmile Travel set, just to test to see if it's all really cracked up to be.

And I think that's about it for my haulings. There's some more just can't remember where I put them. Aside from that we had to buy a new microwave because my husband broke the last one, and picked up some cute stuff animals for the lil ones. Of course we got some gadgets, electronics, and car stuff for the hubby.

There you all have it, not much compared to the lovely Fuz, Pink, etc. though. Hopefully one day I'll be able to spoil myself like they do ^-^ I also got some things underway coming to me, but I don't think I'll everything until next month...I know it's gonna take awhile for delivery but one of the items is across seas so even if I paid extra for faster shipping it would be like waiting for standard mail still.

Quick update: I'm still testing the Missha M BB cream and the Missha BB Sun balm, won't be 2 weeks til I do a review on both of them. Lately I've been stressing out due to my life so I've been breaking out lightly :( Due to the past two months of an unhealthy diet, my appearence have been showing it. My hair doesn't look or feel healthy and the weather has been making me feels so gloomy and tired. I've been getting so annoyed so easily lately and I've been snapping back at everyone...:( I know very bad, but I checked the local weather forecast and apparently this entire week will be nice, but it does get a tad bit colder by the end of the weekend, so for the next week I'm not so sure if it's gonna be nice. GAWD I hope it doesn't snow again or get too cold, I'm just wanting the nice spring weather right now. K, ladies til the next post, gonna try to catch up and then take the angels to bed.

The look didn't come out how I wanted to but I was too lazy to start all over. I guess I need to play around w/ this palette more. I used the darkest color in the palette as an eyeliner to line the bottom of my eyes and do make the lil wings off the corners of my eyes. I seriously thought that I could pull of the "Fashion Mew" lippie but it would seem in order for me to pull it off I have to put it on sheer. I'm really liking the "Ever So Rich" creamsheen glass, it not as sticky as the lip glasses to me, but it's still sticky. It glides on smoothly onto my lips. "Ever so Rich" is very sheer too, it goes on almost clear on my lips, but it probably looks like that to me because my lips are naturally pigmented. Like I said in the previous post pior to this one, I skipped on the blushes and lipglasses. The blush "Tippy" is very pigmented in my opinion, it's a very fun bright pink. It's just too bright to me, that I don't think I'd wear this much. I'll stick to NARS Orgasm blush for my nice pink color, it's much more natural looking on me. ^-^

Hello my lovely ladies! Haven't been posting any fotd lately so I thought I'd actually get my lazy butt up and do a look, not to mention that I finally have alittle free time. I was meaning to post something yesterday on Wednesday but I was watching PREY on blogtv. Let me just say that she's an AWESOME person, very cool to talk to, and I learned a thing or two from her ^-^. I've noticed after a few times playing around w/ the Lucky Tom for me, the shadows are lighter than the regular shadows. Even w/ the UDPP, I have to apply alot of shadow from the palette. This may just be me though, since I'm not really good at applying on eye shadows -.-;

Well there you have it ladies, a fotd using some of the stuff from HK Mild. I skipped out on the lipglasses since the one I was eyeing was already sold out and the two other from the mild collection were in my opinion very sheer. The blush "Fun & Games" reminded me of the Mineralized Blush Naunce, and asking the sa, she said that they were very similar but the Naunce was better. I don't use beauty powders so I didn't get that either.

I will be doing another fotd from the HK Wild, don't know when though. I've also been meaning to post up some haulings of mine over the past last week, weekend and from this week too, but I'm not sure if I want to do a vid. on it or just take pic.s and do a regular post. I guess I'll do whatever is most convenient for me or if most of you have a perference let me know, we'll just have to see.

Anyways that's all for now, I think this is like the fastest fotd post I've done, I know I sound really slow, but I think it was because my past fotd post were done on my old laptop. The laptop like I said in one of my post was a piece of shit, so freaking slow too. The PC we have now is way better than the old laptop. BB Cream Review: Legere White Multi BB cream

So here's the finally long awaited bb cream review I've been meaning to post up. Sorry there's been a lack in posts. I don't think I'll be able to post something up everyday now, things are getting busier for me in my life. Hopefully there will be 2-3 post each week, more if I find the time and energy.

I purchased my L'egere bb cream from an ebay seller, her user name is ianhaze. You can click on the link and it will directly take you to her store "Japanese Products Lover". I'm sure if you're a frequent reader of the LOVELY KT's blog, you know this seller and how great she does business w/ her customers. ^-^

I know I'm late on posting a review on L'egere compared to FUZ, and other lovely bloggers. Just I take a really long time in testing out certain products, I want to make sure I know what I'm reviewing about and I want to see just how effective a certain products is.

This would be my 4th bb cream that I've tried, I got it based on all the ravings and reviews I've heard and read. I must say that I'm glad I fell for the L'egere craze and got it. It is by far the darkest bb cream I have and seen in person. Even though I have a lighter skin tone compared to many, this bb cream blends right into the color of my skin.

For reference: If you've read my previous bb cream review post on Dr. Jart+ Black Label, you know that my skin changes all the time. Currently my skin has been surprising normal, not too dry, not too oily, even not too sensitive (big surprise for me on that one). Still I have broken out just a tad bit from stress but nothing too big or crazy bad. My skin color currently still matches MAC NC25 in the Sheer Press Powder. Also lately my diet has been very poor, I know it's bad, I don't make time for myself to eat healthy.

-Packaging: 4/5
Reason - The cap is one that twist off for you, but there's no plug in the cap to prevent any product from coming out. Some product may be left on the cap if you don't clear off the tip of the bottle when you're done using the bb cream. It holds up to 50 ml of the product, and the bottle is about 5 inches long (not exact measurement, just eyeing it and giving you a guess).

-Product: 5/5
Reason- This bb cream has done all that it said to be able to do, from staying on all day long to being transparent, etc. The only thing that this bb cream claims but I haven't notice any difference is the whitening effect. Even though the bb cream is darker then most bb creams, I'm still able to wear it w/out it being noticeable to anyone or myself. It blends into my skin color very well. The texture is nice and soft, creamy but not heavy (goes on feeling very light). When I was testing this the past 3 week, each time I used it, it made my skin feel so soft, nice, and smooth not to mention very soothing too. This bb cream has a slight scent to it that I actually like. The smell to me I wanna say smells alittle asiany very so slightly citrusy fruity, hope you understand that XP I find that for myself this bb cream goes on semi matte and semi dewy, so you could say in between, for me that's just perfect. I don't like creams that make my face too dewy or too matte. The coverage is light, you could built it up to a light medium coverage though. If you have any type of scars or breakouts, imperfections, etc., you will need a concealer if you plan on using this bb cream. I don't feel/think you need a setting powder for this bb cream if you don't feel like putting any on. I also get alot of compliments when I use this bb cream.

-Overall: 4.8/5
Reason- It's a really really good bb cream, I understand why many who have tried this bb cream rave about it. I can honestly say that out of all the bb creams I've tried, this one is my favorite. I deal w/ the least amount of oiliness and no dry patches anywhere using this bb cream. Only reason why I didn't rate it to be perfect overall, is because of the bottle, the no plug thing really gets to me. I like the packaging to be able to conserve all of the product and to always be clean of anything, I know I'm weird about that. XD My skin looks and feels so clear while I was using this bb cream, occasionally I would breakout but it was very so slightly and they went away w/in a day or two. Again, I'm not so sure if it really whiten or not.

-Recommend?: I would recommend this to anyone w/ sensitive skin. This could also work for people that have drier skin and also oilier skin too. I say that because it really does keep my face moisturized, for people w/ drier skin, I would recommend that you use a good moisturizer prior to applying this bb cream on. As for oilier skin types, this bb cream is a silicon-based formula so it would seem that this bb cream wouldn't make your face so oily that it would get out of hand. This bb cream like I said earlier is the darkest one I have and seen, but I would say that if you're darker then NW/NC 35+, this bb cream may still be too light for your skin tone. Anyone from NW/NC 20 - 30 would probably be able to use this bb cream. I wish bb cream would have a wider color selection, hope that some companies are right now trying to develope some bb creams that can cater to darker skin-tones. If you are some one that's NW/NC 32+, try researching/looking into Missha Watery bb cream and the Pink bottle from L'egere. From what I've seen online and heard about they're both dark for bb cream.

-Repurchase?: Yes, I would repurchase this bb cream. Even though it's a bit more pricey compared to Skinfoods and Missha, it's worth it cuz it does what it claims it can do for your skin. Of course I'm always wanting to try different products, so if I just happen to come across a bb cream that does a better job than L'egere, you can guess that I'll be using that one instead. LOL I'm sure you all have guess by now that I don't generally stick to the same product even if it does the job.

YAH! ^-^ I'm BACK

Yes, it's Friday and my hubby and I found a pc that we both agreed on! But man was it a b*$#%! to get, we had to go to three different best buy stores and it was and still is snowing like the other. We passed so many accidents to and from, the other good thing about today besides the pc was that classes were cancelled! Dumb thing was that we wasted our gas and froze our butts off all the way to the uni. just to hear the announcement over the speaker say that all classes cancelled and all staff are off-work. Anyways, here's are somethings that I got on thursday at MAC since I couldn't order on-line

- Here's what I bought from the HK collection, I bought other stuff but I'm too lazy to take any pic.s of them. There's not important enough to me LOL j/k :P

-W/flash and how Pam (Pink) would say spread eagle.
- No flash on my vanity.

There was more I wanted to check out but I was on a tight shift, so many errands that day. Doctors appointments for the girls, bills, food, classes, chores, etc. blah... The MAC stand I was at didn't have any of the Creem Team items out, I was like WTF you have HK but not this one? The sa said that they didn't get the shipment due to some problems. So try my luck when the snows gone.

Back to the HK collection, the freaking stand didn't have any of the other stuff from HK except for the makeup. I'm pretty happy w/ what I got, but I'm starting to want to look back and see if anything else will catch my eye. I got both palettes since I own many e/s colors, both palettes have good color pay-off none of them to me felt chalky at all. Had to get CuteSter since it's a neutral peachy pink color. Didn't look at any of the other lip sticks since I was running low on time and I didn't think I could pull off any of the other colors. The lipglasses didn't catch my eye at all, I think I'd be better off getting a lipgloss from a different brand. Everything else was nice, just didn't have the time to play w/ them to see if any of them looked nice on me or not.

Aside from that, while I was at the mall where the MAC stand is located in, I came across a new lil food stand called "Penguin" I was shocked and was over came w/ joy (not really) LOL, it's an asian food stand that sells Japanese sushi, Chinese meat buns, Dim Sum, bubble tea, tea, bopa pop, and shaved ice asian style! The couple who opened up the place are Taiwanese and super freaking friendly. I ordered some Dim Sum and egg tarts to go! I'm so glad there's a place like that, that I can go to now. There's no other place like it here that's close to me. So yah! I can get my Dim Sum, egg tart, bao, etc. now! ^-^

I did some haulings, but like I said earlier I'm too lazy to take and post any pic.s right now. Sorry there's no review or fotds, when the stupid laptop f#$!ed on me I didn't even bother, and as of right now, I'm trying to catch up w/ all your blogs and preparing some surprises for the hubby.

So my lovely ladies, if I happen to be unable to post anything up tomorrow for Valentines Day!

EXCUSE my lingo please, but my fu%¿ing laptop broke on me!!!!! Well not on me, but on my husband, the screen is all messed up. The laptop was a piece of sh@¡ anyways, but f/&@ing A... I can't use it now! I know that I haven't been blogging much, but since the da¿% thing is broke now I can't post any new entries that are listed in the upcoming post list. I was planning to do a bb cream review and a valentine look too. :(

It's so f¿&¡ed up, I don't have the car so I can't go anywhere either, so til my husband and I get a new pc or laptop I have no way of posting any post w/ pic.s. We plan to look @ better pc's and laptops this friday, so please pray/hope that we find one we both like so I can post sooner or at least by the weekend. Ladies I need some happy drinks now!!

Now ladies you may be thinking, now is she able to post this if she can't go anywhere w/ a computer plus w/ internet access and the computer's broke? Well, it's simple... I using my nintendo wii, but man is it a b/¿&% to use since I don't have the wii keyboard. So I'm doing it the ghetto way and clicking on each letter, very time consuming... -.-;

Flip it/The bottem line

I was suppose to do this post yesterday but I was at my in-laws and forgot my camera, so here it is ladies!

Sorry, I had to take of a pic. of it on my web cam cause I don't have a scanner anymore and my camera died on me.

-The look is suppose to be all about the eyes, the mag. says that's "It's an easy update for kohl-lined eyes." Instead of it on the top lash line, you just flip it and apply it on the bottem lash line instead.

Here's my attempt on it, now it's not going to look like the pic. above. It just my attempt, so don't expect anything great.
-I didn't apply enough eye shadow, and I didn't shade my brows any deeper because I was afraid I'd over do it. I think it's somewhat similar though, it was my first try. I tend to only try once when I attempt a look, I don't like to try over and over because yes, I admit I'm just plain lazy to do it. LOL! (please excuse the cowlick -.-;)

My thoughts/review:

I can't find the dr. jart+ black label ingredients anywhere on line, and I can't translate the Korean on the box. If any of you lovely ladies know, please let me know. Thanks in advance. ^-^. The least expensive place I've found this bb cream is at Sasa.com just click the shop by brands and then scroll down to Dr. Jart+. This $28.40 plus shipping which is about $5-$6, but as of right now it's currently out of stock.

- Why I chose this one over the silver label? Well, it's mainly because all the reviews I've read on the silver one said that it smelled bad/too strong. I hate things that have too much of a strong smell to them especially when it's something I put on my body. Also the silver one is said to be for people who have oilier skin.

- For reference: I'm NC25 in the Sheer select press powder from MAC. My skin changes during different season/weather, sometimes. Also my skin changes when my hormones (period) change or are out of wack, as of the almost 3 weeks of testing this bb cream my skin was normal/sensitive w/ a slightly oily nose. I've been testing this bb cream for about close to 3 weeks.

Packaging: 5/5

-Reason: Comes in an easy-to-open snap cap that has a plug like thing, so not so much of you product will be stuck in the cap, the cap also twists off for you if you want it to. The bottle hold 50ml of bb cream.

Product itself: 4/5

-Reason: It only come in one shade so it's not univeral enough to cater to alot of the darker skin range. It has a floral scent to me, but it goes away after a few seconds upon applying it on. It has more of a pink undertone to it. This bb cream gives light coverage thats buildable to medium coverage. If you have imperfections like old scars, blemishes, etc. you most likely will need concealer with this bb cream. It give you a natural dewy look, I don't need to powder afterwards if I don't feel like it. This bb cream also gets me alot of compliments from alot of people.

Over all: 4/5

-Reason: It's a pretty good bb cream, I think it's a bit better than the Scinic Fine Control bb cream. Staying power is good, will start to fade at the end of the day. You do have to blot when it's close to the end of you day, but its just once that entire day. My skin doesn't breakout as much compared to when I use foundation. I didn't notice my skin whiten, no one did, I asked. I'm not sure about the wrinkles, I don't have any yet so I can't say much on the anti-wrinkle part.

Repurchase?: Sure, I would consider to repurchase, that if I haven't found another bb cream I feels that does a better job than this one. I always find myself trying something new, I always like to try different things even if I've already found my HG product. Everyone is always coming up with new products that they claim is more innovative and better, so I like to try to see for myself.

Recommend?: I recommend this bb cream to people that have sensitive/normal to a lil dry skin types and also to people who don't need alot of coverage. Since it only comes in one shade, this can only be worn by people with lighter skin-tones. I want to say NW/NC 15 maybe even lighter - NW/NC 25. If you're around those skin shades and are interested in whitening properties and/or looking for something with anti-wrinkle, this bb cream is worth the time to research/look into. I don't recommend this to someone with NW/NC 30+ skin shades, it's too light. Also this bb cream isn't for you if you're not interested in any type of whitening for the skin, and if you have really oily skin.

~-~-~-~If you have a darker skin-tone than NW/NC25 and are interested in bb creams, there have been only two bb creams that seem like they could be used (from looking at swatches and pic.s online). Legere White Multi bb cream (NW/NC30), and Missha Watery bb cream which is darker compared to the Legere one in my opinion.

The best place to look for many different bb creams would probably be ebay and g-market online, if you live the states and are next/close to the west coast check out various Korean stores (but be careful sometimes they try to rip you off by over pricing their bb creams). If you are gonna be visiting Japan, China, Taiwan, S. Korea (did I forget any other countries?) check out some places, I'm pretty sure the prices there a better than here in the states and online.

As of right now I only have 4 bb creams in my possession, so with this one written; I have 2 down and 2 more to go to complete my bb cream reviews. Once I'm done w/ writing my reviews on them, I think I'm gonna test three others I've had my eye on for awhile now.

I've never done a how-to vid before and lately for me YT has been very slow uploading my videos, so I'm not gonna do it. My Daily Day/Night Routine and a lil' haul + freebies

So here's what I do, or I should say try to do each and everyday and night to take care of my face/body. My day and night routine are practically the same, nothing special at all, I think my routine is pretty basic/broad compared to others.

Cleansers/toner: I use MaryKay's Velocity facial cleanser when in the shower, and Avalon Organics Vitamin C refreshing cleansing gel over the sink. I usually shower during the night, cause I'm too freaking lazy to get up early enough to take one during the mornings. I sometimes am able to get in two showers during the day, which means I don't use the Avalon cleansing gel during those days. I use the Avalon Organics Vitamin C balancing facial toner for both my day/night routine.

I use MaryKay's Velocity facial cleanser just to use it all up so I can get something better. I used to like it alot until I realized the more I used it, the effects/properties weren't as effective as they were in the beginning. As for the Avalon Organics Vitamin C products, I like how they both smell like citrus and oranges, and I also find that both the cleansing gel and toner helps with fading my old acne scars.

Facial cream/gel: I recently just started to use Clinique Moisture Surge as my everyday moisturizer, before that I was using Nivea Natural Tone face/body creme. As for my night cream I use Zhen (pronounced like "Jen") Chinese Tea Night Creme. I also use DHC Concentrated Eye Cream *not pictured/forget to add* , and it's pretty good, it's suspose to help keep the eye area moisturized plus help with wrinkles.

I'm really liking the Moisture Surge, I can see why it's so popular with alot of people both men and women. There's no paraban (sp?) so I don't have to worry that my pores will clog, and it has just the right amount of moisture so it's doesn't make my face too oily and it doesn't dry out my face either. I think it smells like sake, I don't know why I think that though..I like sake LOL! ^-^ As for the Chinese Tea Night creme it's soothing on my face and neck, it's also nice for moisture. The scent is hard to explain, it's has a smell but it's not bad and is very faint. The smell goes away after a few seconds after applying it. Body cream: My skin has drastically changed, it used to be so oily that I didn't need any kind of moisturizer, but now it's dry. I don't know if it's the weather, hormones, etc. but now it's sorta normal but with dry patches here and there. The cold weather here doesn't make it any better, so I use Nivea body Essentially Enriched body lotion to help and it does the job. I usually use this after I get out of the shower, or when I need a quick fix. I'm still in search of a summer lotion.
So there it is my day/night routine, like I said very simple.

Also once a week I try to exfoliate and use a mask right before I shower. Currentlythe I'm using the Volcanic Ash Exfoliator from MAC, and Pinkey Pure Care Blackhead off & Moisture Face Mask *click here for pic. of Pinkey Mask* I really like the exfoliator, it really makes my skin glow and feel oh so soft and smooth. I mask is alright, if you read the review on it you already know how I feel about it.

Here's a very tiny haul and freebies, it would've been bigger but apparently Ohaya was selling some discontinued items that I order so they had to refund me. So I guess that means I won't be getting my Mandom stuff. :( But it's a good thing in a way since I found another place with better prices and shipping. ^-^ Yah! My Legere BB Cream and the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peel came in yesterday! ^-^ So far I'm loving both!Here are the freebies I got at the Mall, I went on I think Thursday and Friday.
Clinique Moisture Surge and Lancome Mascara in brown. They only had these two products left when I got there. I think they also had the body wash from Calvin Klein and the Night Repair cream from Estee Lauder. Only four items to choose from..it really does suck to live in the mid-west, you don't get many choices compared to the west and east coasts. Well there you all have it. Review: Pinkey Pure Care Blackhead off & Moisture Face Mask

K, I've warned you all...

Here's a review post on this product right here, I got this during December of last year on Sasa.com. Everyone, okay mostly everyone has problems with, bothersome blackheads. I am no exception. I came across this product when I was viewing random skincare products. What got my attention was the cute/simple ass pic. on it and the fact that it's only freaking $1.30 originally $1.90! I know, right!

Here's what it says on the back, sorry again I don't know how to read in Chinese.(*edit: sorry, not Korean, but Chinese*)

Packaging: 4/5 Small n cute, with a twist off cap. Doesn't have a good plug thingy in it so product can easily come out and it can get messy and gloppy.

Product: 3/5 Very messy to work with, must use alot to be able to peel off the mask. It's utterly black goop you put on your face. It's very very hard to remove when still wet/moist. Has a smell to it, I can't compare it to anything though, but for me it's pleasant and I'm not one that likes strong scents in my products. It takes the mask to dry completely 15-20 min.s, it has a tightening effect as it drys. It's hard to remove once it's dry too, but I find that if you gently rub the edges to warm it up it'll peel off easier. After using this product I can see blackheads but it doesn't take all my blackheads off. My skin is felt feeling very smooth and soft. I find that I need to wash my face again after using this because the edges of the mask stay on me and I don't want to rub it off. It says that has moisture too, I'm not sure if it's moisturizing though, but I know my skin isn't dried out from the mask.

-Here's what it looks like on me w/no makeup, (I hear screams already) after 15 min.s of leaving it on my face.

Price: 5/5 Very affordable! Come on, $1.30! Need I say more?

Over all: 3/5 It's an average product. It being messy to apply and some what hard to remove lowered my rating.

Recommend?: Yes, it's very affordable and it does an average/good job. I think this product works for all types of skin. It makes my skin smooth and soft to the touch. Even though it comes in a small bottle, this product seems like it would last you up to 10 masks, more if you just use it for certain areas.

Repurchase?: Sure, that's if I don't come across something better. I'm always on a look out for new products to try. I'm not one to stay with one product even if I consider it an HG product or not. I'm always in a search for better more effective products, remember I'm a Gemini I tend to go back and forth on things.

And that's the end to my review on Pinkey Pure Care Blackhead off & Moisture Face Mask. Just another product that suppose to help with blackhead. Hope it was informative enough, and hope this picture wasn't too bad. Ahaha LOL! ^-^

Hey everyone! Man! I really don't feel good right now. I can't stand this weather right now, everything gets on my nerves so easily as of late, and I'm not one that gets annoyed or angry so easily. It better get better so I feel better soon for Chinese New Year, it's practically here already!
Anyway here's the review for MAC cleanse off-oil.

What it says on MACCOSMETICS.COM : "An industry-strength oil-based makeup remover that's gentle on the skin. What I think :
-Packaging: 5/5 I like the pump, very easy to use, not messy at all.

-Product it self: 5/5 It's not irritating on the eyes at all, I usually use either 1 or 2 pumps. The smell to me smells wonderful. It has a warm sweet smell you could either compare it to the smell of freshly baked cookies, or warm sweet coconut, but that's just me. It does remove all of my makeup including lip color and waterproof mascara. I put this on my face and gently rub in a circular motion until I can see the makeup rub off. After that I rinse off with lukewarm water. The oil washes off as a murky, milky white color. Afterwards my face feel so nice n smooth, depending on my mood I usually follow up with my facial cleanser if not I just don't do anything else except use toner.

-Price: 5/5 I think the price is reasonable for what it can actually do compare to the more higher end brands that also make this kind of product that do the exact same thing.

-Overall: 5/5 I can honestly say that this is my favorite makeup remover, it does the job for me every single time I use it. HG makeup remover here!

-Repurchase?: Yes!! I'm going to repurchase once I run out of it.

-Recommend?: Definitely Yes!! Even though it's an oil-based product, I think this product can be used by anyone from dry to oily, normal to sensitive skin-types.

I use to not to watch it, it didn't interest me, until I was babysitting my siblings for my mom. This is like back in the day, middle - high school time. We were watching whatever they were watching which happened to be some anime movie, can't remember the name of it. Anyway they both said that I should draw them anime pictures for them. Watching the anime did interest me once I paid more attention to it since my siblings were obsessed with anime. So I started to draw anime, so much that I got into anime and mangas. Here was my very first attempt on drawing anime style.

I know very blurry, they weren't scanned back then, my sister took close shots of them with her camera. After I started drawing anime, I got inspired to draw my own anime/manga character. I have no clue what happened to all my drawings from still-life to anime to abstract stuff. I think my siblings and mother have them somewhere..anyway that's all for tonight, or maybe not...LOL ^-^ I admit I still watch anime, thanks to my husband to this day. I don't draw as much as I used to now, having my own family to take care of plus school. Very Simple, Very Subtle FOTD

I lost my camera for a day, found it today by my husbands videos games.. -.-; I think I may need to get some glasses or contacts soon, I didn't even see it. The hubby starts to laugh at me saying that it was right in front of me the whole time. Anyway, is it just me or does anyone have to wait forever for their vid.s to load up on youtube? I tried up loading a vid. but it took so long..so I cancelled it, lately I've been really impatient with everything..not sure why though.. Probably cuz of auntie flow if you know what I mean.. Youtube, online purchases.., people, etc. *sighs* Every since Wednesday I've been feeling alittle down due to the crazy weather we're having in the mid-west. The only days where things were fine was the weekend and now, I'm just feeling like crap. I wish weather would be more consistent and nicer year round.
K, enough of talking about that let's get to the fotd. It's nothing special, just a really simple look, I was playing around with my shadows to do a smokey look but in the end I was getting no way and I got too tired and didn't want to restart. So I will attempt again another time.

I did everything very subtle today, I didn't feel like doing anything bold. I'm telling you it's the freaking weather, it just brings me down. Literally, under the weather, my body aches and feels heavy. I wish spring would just come faster, I can't wait for nicer weather. K ladies, hope you all are feeling alot better then I am. I hope everyone's weekend went well, mine was pretty nice. Got to get out of the house tonight cause the weather was a lil nicer. Went to Target to pick up some stuff for my gamer (games n batteries), me (new shit to try on my face), n my lil ones (snacks n shoes), then went to the grocery to get some food n drinks. Non-makeup related but I just wanted to share with you all some music

I love how K-pop singers look so freaking beautiful, even if it's due to plastic surgery and a shit load of makeup. They're still fab.! I think I'd have to say my most fave. Korean singer would be Uhm Jung Hwa, she's dupped as the Madonna of the East. I would have to disagree with that though, Uhm Jung Hwa is one of the most successful Korean singers, and one of the veterans too (90' k-pop icon). She's also an actress, and I hears she's a good one too. I haven't seen any films or drama/shows she's done though, but I love watching and listening to all of her music videos. Doesn't she look great for a 37 year old? Also in this MV, it features BIG BANG's rapper T.O.P. I must say that he's skin looks so nice for a guy, and he's so f***'n SEXY! I feel like I wanna attempt some looks from current k-pop singers, they're all so GORGOUS!

Hope you all like it, I'm gonna be sharing more music that I like listening to on this blog too, but don't worry I'll be posting up more beauty related stuff. ^-^ Which reminds me that I need to get my lazy butt up and do my tutorial on how I contour and highlight my face.

Attemping..with baby steps..

I've always been that kind of gal that always stuck with natural, subtle colors. Reason why? Well, one it's simply and easy/quick to do. Two, I'm afraid of putting bright, bolds colors on my face. Three, I feel like I would look like a clown and really un-natural. I love the look of natural looking makeup, why? Well, simply I think/feel that, that kind of look will always be classic. So no matter what the year, generation, season, time the natural look will always be in-style.

Even though I say that, the simple/natural look can get old and boring and sometimes a person like me...wants to do something different. Not seriously a drastic different look but maybe go a tad bit bolder, different color. Though I'd like to do a different look that doesn't mean that I'll just take a huge ass jump to bright/bold colors just like that. I'm one of those people who needs to take baby steps, when it comes to my face and the way I'll let people to see it. I admit that I have tried to just jump to big/bright/bold color but I failed miserably...-.-; So here's my attempt with a color that's a little brighter/bolder.

I decided to try purple, I know it's really really subtle though...-.-; I tried to make it pop, which it did in person..just not on the camera..-.-;

My attempt was a failure..-.-; the look is just subtle. Not natural look or bold/bright. I guess I will need to use a primer like UDPP or a MAC Paint Pot the next time I feel like trying a bolder more colorful look, plus pack on more eyeshadow.

BB Cream Review: My very first BB cream

Hey everyone, hope every one's Saturday or Sunday has been doing good so far..Mine's been okay, can't go out cuz of the weather..so the hubby and I decided to do some cleaning. It has bad as you think, seeing that I get a workout out of it and don't have to think of it in that way. Anyways we decided to take a break seeing that he wants to play on his 360..the lil ones asleep, I might as well do something for myself. So here it is ladies a review on bb cream, first of my bb cream reviews.

I was like almost a year late into the bb craze, which came out in 07'. I didn't know a thing about it til one day of 08' on ABB, I came across this fabulous beauty blogger Xppinkx. So even though she doesn't know it, I learned about bb cream from her. I would like to thank her right now for introducing this into my life, before I continue with the review. So Xppink if you're reading this THANK YOU! ^-^ BB cream has made my routine simpler and faster, and it's definitely has made my face feel smoother, glow more, and clear! ^-^

K back to the review, if you don't know what bb cream is..well just really a cream that's tinted that is suppose to help with breakouts, moisturize, conceals, brightens, has spf, and some helps with anti-aging. Bb cream means blemish balm cream. First in Europe than became a freakin' hit in Asia, mostly South Korea. I think this is like the quickest way I can put it.

Anyways, looking for bb cream was very difficult for me. One, is I live in the middle of the U.S. and there's no China, Korea, Japan town anywhere in my entire state. Two, I wasn't willing to shell out allot of cash for only 50 ml of cream that I've never seen, that seemed to good to be true. Three, at the time I didn't trust buying online, especially on ebay. I finally caved in when I came across the SCINIC FINE CONTROL BB CREAM from Sasa.com. I've been using this bb cream for about 2 1/2 months now.

What the description says on the front: "This special blemish balm not only provides an amazing moisturizing and smoothing effect to your skin, it also makes your skin look fresh and healthy."
What it says on the right side of the box: "Scinic Fine Control BB Cream not only smooths the skin, but also effectively covers skin flaws and continuously protects the skin even through sweat or during the summer. As a new type of skin protective cream which maintains uniform and glossy skin for long periods of time, it is a compound functional product that gives off the effect of both makeup base and foundation, even if they are not used separately. Containing the patented substance Alosome, it aids in moisturizing and calming the skin and it contains various vegetal vitamins and nourishing ingredients that are being patedted for their skin revitalizing effects such as the Ailanthus altissima Swingle extracts, Portulaca oleracea Linne, and vitamnin B, making the skin bright and healthy."

My Ratings for Scinic Fine Control BB Cream..

Packaging: 3/5
-Reason: It comes with a twist on cap that doesn't have that plug thingy in the cap to stop an extra product of coming out, so the inside of the cap can be over filled w/ the bb cream. Gets alittle messy if I'm so careful enough. The bottle holds 50 ml of the product.

Product it self: 4/5

-Reason: Only comes in one shade and has a slight smell of sunscreen. When is come out the tube it looks greyish pale pink (put me off so much I was about to toss it), which looked light on me when I put it on, but it matched into my skin after a minute or so. Besides that it gives light to buildable medium coverage. Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all, made my skin glow and nice looking like I had skin of the Asian celebrities. Very natural looking, but not matte yet not oily looking either. I got/get alot of compliments wearing it from family and friends to even strangers that just walked up to me.

Over all: 3.8/5
-Reason: The color, it only being one shade and smell just puts in off. Testing this bb cream for 2 1/2 months really did improve my skin overall. I did breakout but I know it's not because of the bb cream (everyone stresses). I have normal/sensitive/t-zone/w/ a slight(ever so slightly) dry skin, and it good for moisture and soothing my skin.

Repurchase?: Have a backup, but not planning on getting more after that..as of now (might change my mind) (I'm a person that likes to go back and forth on things, Gemini right here! LOL)
-Reason: I like this bb cream, but as I said the color really does put me off, and the spf smell but not as much as the color. Currently I'm trying other bb creams from brands Missha, and Dr. Jart+. So far from my experience w/ the other bb creams, I like the color and smell better than Scinic Fine Control bb Cream.

Recommend?: Yes and No. I would recommend this product, but only to the fair-skin gals out there, I think it's great for sensitive skinned gals as well. I got this bb cream for 21.XX on Sasa.com w/out shipping. I would not recommend this to anyone with skin darker than NC 25 or has really really oily skin or someone that needs alot of coverage and/or allergic to any of the ingredients listed.

And that concludes my review for Scinic Fine Control BB Cream. I am planning to do more reviews on my other bb creams, just need to take the time to test them all out. Man it's so difficult to actually get online and have at least an hour or two to still on....since the holidays have been going on my family have been busy like crazy and having two little babies just make it twice as hard. The Weekend and Postal Haul

Hey everyone! Hoped everyone had a nice weekend, mine wasn't as great as I hoped it'd be. I was planning on getting my hubby his b-day and christmas present this past weekend but unexpectedly our car wasn't working...due to the very very cold weather we're having in the middle of the U.S. We went out to eat at a vietnamese restaurant w/ some relatives, after we were done and were about to head out to the mall, our car wouldn't start...tried to jump start it and everything. Since this was on a Sunday around 6 pm, we had to leave the car there and ride w/ our relatives. So now my hubby's brother has to call a tow...it sucks!!!! Especially since it's so close to my hubby's b-day and the Holidays!

Hopefully everything will work out and the car will work again. My hubby and I are planning to get a new car anyway so until then......Oh btw I would like give congrates to Mimi for winning Lady L's Christmas/New Years Contest!!! :)

Now on to the Haul! The only thing that brightened up my day....just got it in the mail..my ebay, sasa, and mac haulings...
Found a really nice and great seller on ebay for bb creams, they were even nice enough to send me some samples! :) I got the Original Missha BB cream $10, and Missha Sun Balm cream $15. On sasa.com I ordered Scinic Fine Control BB cream $21.70 and Pinkey Pure Care Blackhead off & Moisture Face Mask $1.90 now $1.30 and I needed to restock on my brush cleanser solution from MAC $11.00

I Miss My Kids!!!

K, for the past 2 weeks my kids have been over at their grandma's house. For the past two week my hubbie and I have been busy, gone out of the house for mostly all day long. It was really hard to take them there, and know that they'd be there for awhile. I know it's best that they're there, since there's no one here to watch them, and they get to spend time with their relatives but it's the very first time I've been away from them for this long! My hubbie and I visit whenever we have free time but going there and knowing I can't take my babies home with me just makes me depressed! Man! I hope things start to slow down and just get done faster so I can take my babies home!

They're my Precious Little Angels, I love them so MUCH!! XOXOXOXOX for the Little Cuties!

Cheezy Love/My Keys!

Hey Everyone! How's everyone's Wednesday so far...??? Mine started out great today, nice cool weather that was neither cold or hot just inbetween. Everyone today seemed pleasent (sp?) today. I got to make a little something for my hubbie, made a cheezy little heart shaped keychain for him with the beginning letters of each others first names. LOL! ^^ Here's a pic. of it, I'm still not finished, so I gotta work on it tomorrow. It's made with there waxxy things that look like beads, and you place them in a pattern. After your done with designing, you place wax paper on top of it and iron it for 10-20 sec., let it cool then repeat on the other side and WA LA!

Aside from that ..Around 3:10 pm today my hubbie called me to tell me that he has dropped my car keys @ the grocery store! I'm like OMG! Not again (not the first time he's done this). All I can prey for is that someone nice will return my keys to the store, or it's in the car. Prey that I get my keys back everyone!

Hey everyone! It's been awhile, lots have happened like...........me going into labor August 15th!!!!! ^^ So now my hubbie and I added another addition to our little family, another healthy baby girl. So now we have two beautiful girls! I really just wanted a boy so that I could just stop, but I love my daughter she's so cute just like her older sister! ^^ Well it's gonna be a long long long.....time before my hubbie and I try again for another baby. Anyways that's my update for you all. Lately I've just been taking it easy and relaxing (recovering from labor), also been taking care of the two little ones. They're a handful, especially my older one, she's very jealous of her baby sister. So I always have to be watchful of her when she's near her little sister. This weekend including today, both of them are going to be at their grandma's. So my hubbie and I can spend some quality time together. Anyways gonna put up another post, my very first FOTD!! ^^

Tiny MAC Haul

Okay here's my really really tiny Haul.

Everyone seemed to be raving about this from MAC, so I decided to try it out. It's sold out nation wide.

It's nice, I've never used exfoilators before this one so I can't compare it to anything else. But for the past week and ahalf, it's been doing what all you gals says it does. My skin after using this is very smooth and soft now. I'm not sure what else it spose to do for me though.

If you want to try this or did get to try it and loved it and want to get your hands on a tube of it, it looks like the only way to get it, is by going onto ebay or swap with someone. Getting things especially cosmetics on ebay is a really really big risk though, alot of scammers out there, also you'd think cuz it's ebay makeup would be less expensive compared to stores prices but no.... it's the opposite (sp) But don't worry ladies the manager from the MAC stand I go to told me that because the exfoliator was so popular that they may bring it back for good. She told me that MAC have the patent for the volcano they get the ash from. So cross your fingers, and hopefully MAC will make more.

In my last MAC Haul I got the Fresh Green Mix from the ElectroFlash collection. I had to go back and get the blue one!!! Sky n Sea or Sea n Sky. I Love both of them. I'm just starting to use more colorful eyeshadows now, so that's why I got these colors. I swatched all the other colors too, but I already have eyeshadows that can dupe what the other colors from this collections. Even so, I would love to have all the colors from the collections. I also had to pickup another Skinfinish duo from New View, as a backup for when I'm done with my first one. I Love this stuff. It's the very first powder that actually matches my skin, it's not too pink or yellow. It just disappears onto my skin! ^-^ I'm not a shimmery type of person though, but It's a great highlighter.
I wish I get one of their blushes from Sonic Chic. I really really really want Nuance, I only have one blush, orgasm from NARS. It's more pink than peachy colored, and I think a peachy colored blush would look more natural and better on me. So maybe I'll get Nuance.

I just got this at the office today, I got just b/c. I've never tried any of MAC lip stuff except for the Tendertones. So this is my very first lipglass from MAC, I was really excited about this when I first ordered it only b/c this from a special limited edition. This color looks like alot of the other lipglasses that MAC has. I think it looks very similar to one of the lipglasses from the ElectroFlash collection.

My last item from this Haul is... the cleanse off oil. I got this b/c my cleanser doesn't seem to take off my makeup. I always see a little residue (sp) on my cotten ball when I use my toner. So I thought I'd get this a try. Hope it works. Alot of ppl rave about MAC cosmetics on youtube, blogs, etc. but I rarely see anyone talk about MAC skincare products, and when they do, it's not enough info. for me. I want to give the skincare products a try once I finish my other stuff, but I'm scared to try them cause I don't know if my skin will like it. Although I'm still young (20) I don't want to damage my skin. If you've readed my post from the past @ either this site or on ABB, you know that I just started to get into makeup and skincare. I wish I started to take care of my skin sooner though.

Anyway, that's all for now. I ordered a mac palette from MAC PRO which should be here sometime this week, also a few months ago there was a rave on BB creams so in my next post I'll be talking about that and whatever else comes up. Hoped you all enjoyed. You all have a good night!! ^-^

Hey Everyone!!! Just a little update on what's been going on with my life. Last weekend my family and I celebrated my daughters first b-day. We just had alot of family come over, my little baby was so happy, getting so much attention and love in a day. ^-^ She got alot of toys and clothes, that pretty much all she can actually get. We were spose to have alot more ppl come to the party but on the exact date of her b-day there was also a graduation party. So ppl were going back and forth inbetween the parties. Anywho after the party was over, it was a pain to clean up but it was worth it. It's nice to have a big family. Sorry no pic.s of the party, it's in another memory card which at the moment I've misplaced.

Aside from that, the next day we went to the movies to see Batman: The Dark Knight. I personally liked the movie even though I was scared during some parts of the movie. I hate scary, suspenseful (sp) films. I'm more of a comedy, action, animated fan. It's a movie worth watching, so if you're bored and wanna do something go watch it. It's worth the money, the movie is long, and interesting. Heath Ledger did a very very GREAT job as being the Joker. The effects are good too.

Also, I got another haul for you all! LOL ^-^ You guessed it, from MAC! This haul is small though and I didn't get everything all @ once. Hope you enjoy, stay tuned for the post! ^-^

And finally the MAC!! As you all probabley know, MAC launched it's newest collections nation store wide today. Three very pretty mineralized collections, Sonic Chic: a collections of blushes and a buffer brush. Electroflash: collection of beautiful pigmented duo eyeshadows, lip glass, and lip sticks with a very thick eye brush. New View: collection of mineralized skinfinishes powders that's also a duo with shimmers also has a large thick powder brush.

I went just to see these collections but I also had to look at everything else. Now every since I found out that there was an actual MAC Stand in the city that I live in, I've been going there everytime my hubby would take me. Alot of you girl are very lucky to live in the bigger cities that actually have either an actual MAC store, Nordstrom, Pro MAC Store or all three. I live in the middle of the U.S. So....I'm not so lucky.

Anyway I've only been to this stand three times, the first two times I went the sales people weren't so nice to me. In my opinion, they were a bit rude. They didn't brother to ask if I need help, I had to go and ask, and this is when they're not even busy! Both times with different Sales people, even when I asked for help they weren't much of help. Like they always say though, third times the charm, well in this case anyways. It was getting busy when I came, the sales ppl actually said hi and were very helpful. I ended up buying three things, two from the new collections and one item from a limited edition collection.

I got the pot paint in bare study 4 days ago, which was my second trip to the MAC Stand. It's out of stock on MAC website. Watching all you girls with this color made me want it, the color is so.........pretty.
I was so happy that I got this! It's Sweet Tooth from the tendertones, I'm really happy with this item, not only is it limited edition and out of stock online but I got the very last one from the store. Very lucky! ^-^ Sad thing is that I asked for this when I got the paint pot in bare study, the sales lady said that they were sold out of this color, either she didn't look hard enough, which I doubt seeing that I watched her look for it for 10 minutes. It only like took less than a minute for this sales person to get for me this time.

And here it, two items from the new collections. I got Fresh Green Mix duo eye shadow, and medium/natural and shimmer mineralize skinfinish. This color is very pigmented, I got this color because I'm just starting to get more colorful with eyeshadows. I've always been using neutral colors. This is the very first time I got something it's colorful and pigmented. So you can say I'm trying to come out of my shell/comfort zone. ^-^ As for the face powder, originally I got the lightest shade, but than I went back and the second lightest shade. The sales ppl actually put this on me to see which one actually blended well with my skin. I don't know what my foundation color is for MAC, but I do that I'm inbetween NC15 to NC20 in MACs loose powder.

I didn't get any of the new blushes though, wish I could but I don't wear blush much. I have Nars Orgasm blush. I think Daintly looks alot like Orgasm but orgasm has a little more of pink in it. I might just go back or order a blush online.

But anyway there's my haul from MAC, not much but I'm starting to accumulate more MAC little by little.

Also MAC is going to Launch another collection on the 31st of this month called star flash, it has alot of eye shadows and I think about 4 or more eye liners. So if you love MAC eyeshadows be on the lookout for that. During August 21-23 MAC Stands and Store are holding an event!!! It's for their 2008 fall line! "Cult of Cherry" The sales rep.s will do makeovers for anyone with the cosmetics from this new collection. So if you're interested and have an hour to two to spare on those days call and set an appointment so you won't have to wait to get the makeover. There's also another collection that spose to come out called Overrich, which are all pigments. Oh! Almost forgot, if you live in a city with a Nordstrom, check them out, they have the ColorForms collection exclusive. You have also look at them online on Nordstrom website.

Okay, let's start with this haul. Now I just had to take advantage of the Semi-Annual Sale, 50%-75% off of original price! For Victoria Secret, that's a great deal!! I didn't get everything you see here all at once. I dragged my daughter and hubbie to the store 3 different times during the sale. My little girl really enjoyed it but my hubbie not so much, at the store all three times he just whipped out his psp and played his games. I did get him to help choose all but one of the things I got. He's so sweet, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, even my daughter helped me by holding on to the stuff I got while I was browzing for stuff. ^-^ So Lucky and Thankful to have them! Hope they feel the same way about me! ^-^

Well like I said in the previous post I entered a contest/giveaway that SpoiledPretty held a week before fathers' day. I honestly thought I wouldn't win anything at all but I decided why not, got nothing to lose. Though I didn't win what I really wanted to win, I'm very happy to win this. Seeing that I've never won anything in my entire life, I was really shocked to actually win. Well now I can say I've won something! (^-^)( ^o^ ) Really surprised when I saw this at the door, I totally forgot about the giveaway! This perked up my day even more! ^-^

My prize consist of 16 oz. Manicure/Pedicure Sugar Cookie, and the Surgeon's Four Piece Collection: 2.5 oz. twist up stick, 8 oz. moisturizer cream, 4 oz. one step manicure, and .30 oz. cuticle stick Lemon Scent. Okay, I was so excited when I got these packages during the two previous days. Like I said in the last post I waited for my stuff from E.L.F. for 2 1/2 freakin' week!!! I was so.......HAPPY when it came on my b-day two days ago. But when I actually looked at the stuff they sent me, I noticed that an item was missing. Which was okay I guess, b/c they refunded me for that item.

Other than that, E.L.F. cosmetics is actually not bad at all. I've read alot of mixed reviews on their product, for me none of the products came damaged in any way. The eye pencils goes on smooth and the color is beautiful and the eye curler actual fits my eye! The blending/bronzer/blush brush is okay for $1, it's not as full as the brush they show on the site for it. It's also not soft as I would of like it to be but it's only $1 so that was okay. Nail polish is cute, you have to apply 2-3 coats of color to see the color but that's cool seeing in the nail salons they always apply at least two coats of color for you. The bronzer came in tack, love the color. Love the gloss, smells good, but doesn't last long. The lip balm looks nice, haven't opened it b/c I'm giving it to my sister. And last but not least the free item they sent me, the makeup sponges. I've never used one in my entire life, don't really care to much for it being pink, love the feel of the sponges.

I placed this order on the 13th of this month, and got it on the 19th!!! It really only took 5 days total to get it b/c I ordered this item close to midnight. It's my very first time ordering right from the website. Love the packaging, the gift box is so CUTE!!

I didn't really like any of the samples they had for that week but sample are free so why not get them, if not for me than for friends and family ^-^. I have not used any items from this haul yet! I can't wait to try the UDPP, the e/s palette, and lip balm. Seeing I don't need the bubbles I'm gonna give that and also the disco beige colored nail polish to my sisters. I'm so sad right now, though, as you all probably know, sephora is giving a small sample tube of the Seishido sunscreen with all present purchases while supplies last including the other three samples they always give out. Wish I had more money to spend on cosmetics and skincare right now! But must save for more important things like my baby's first birthday!

And Finally the MAC!! (^O^)

Last but not least, my last package I received today! MAC, MAC, MAC, what can I say, I'm really into MAC right now have been for a couple is months now. Ever since I came across ABB, I've been crazy for MAC ever since!

Now I waited until the 16th to do my shopping on-line so I could get the family and friends 15% discount and free shipping. Seeing that I live in a State with no free standing MAC stores (-.-;), that's all I could do other than go to the counter at Dillards in the Mall. Really really happy excited for this order, not just b/c it's MAC, but b/c I didn't expect this to come in the mail until today! So I only had to wait 3 days for my MAC package to get here!! By far this is the quickest deliverary for me that's just standard shipping! <(^0^)>

For this order I only ordered three things b/c all the things I really wanted like the Volanic Ash Scrub, etc. were out of stock. I got items from three of the Collections from MAC.

I really really love the color for Hush Hush, and Evening Aura just from looking at them. Not too crazy for Warming Trend, wish I got a different color from Cool Heat, but that's alright. Just have to wait for another time, and maybe start going to the stand/counter for MAC at the mall to test color before buying them online that way I'll be happy with the e/s colors I pick out. Again I haven't try on, or done any swatches on them either, so maybe I'll warm up to Warming Trend then, hopefully.... ^-^

I'm so happy about these three packages!! I can't wait for the other three to get here, though they're not as great as the Sephora and MAC shipments. I really hope that my CherryCulture, Sasa, and Everyday Minerals get here soon but it seems that they won't get here until close to the end of this month or the first of next month. I hope not, just b/c I don't want to wait, but apparently my order is "not finished" (meaning some items I bought and paid for are out of stock) on CherryCulture. Sasa is from Hong Kong so my package needs to be flown over to me, and Everyday Minerals...well let's just say I'll never order from them again. I hope they freakin' send me my stuff soon, I ordered from them on the 3rd of this month and still haven't received anything! On their website it says that my items have been shipped already! I already sent them an e-mail 3 days ago and they haven't replied at all! If I can't get my stuff they better refund me! *sighs* I've been very patience til now, if MAC, Sephora, and even E.L.F. can send my purchases to me on time why can't Everyday Minerals? I'm gonna keep on trying to get a hold of them. Anyway moving on, I might do some reviews, swatches, etc. on the stuff from this haul soon. Like I said earlier, when I have time and I'm not busy with my baby.

Well I got the Almay moisturizing eye makeup remover last week. Reason why I got it was b/c of the label on top of it's lid. "#1 brand in America" . This product nourishes the skin while removing the makeup both non and waterproof on your eyes and lips, w/out irritation. It has a blend of aloe, green tea, and cucumber infused in it. This product is not oil-free.

My experience: As you have see I got the one that provides pads. During the first use of the pads, it was really thin and oily. It did it's job by removing the makeup I had on my eyes but it was really really oily. I couldn't open my eyes, so I had to have my husband help me turn on the water to wash off the oilyness. -.-"

Pros: Removed eye makeup, made my skin around the eyes really smooth and soft. Conventant packaging.

Cons: REALLY oily, pads stick together, kinda hard to separate.

Buy it again?: No, even though it left my skin smooth and soft, I believe that eye cream is the best thing to use if anyone wants nice skin around the eyes. I'll probably get the oil-free one, the one I know works well.

Recommend?: Nope, I won't recommend this product to anyone. I don't think anyone wants the feeling of oilyness on their eye lids.

Here's one that I did of myself, it doesn't look like much or that I did anything extreme but you can if you want. You can try out colored eye lenes or even blue lip stick. Anyways I tried a different hair style/cut, neutral e/s and l/s, and a light blush. I also added longer lashes too. Well again hope you all like it, and try it out for yourself.
